I am a Christian pilgrim in this life, a husband of 19 years to a beautiful Christian woman named Suzanne, and father to an incredible set of children all of which love the Lord and set him as priority in their lives.
Currently reside in Granbury Texas.
Hobbies include Fly fishing, fly tying, and reading everything I can get my hands about both of those items.
I am 41 years old and currently a student attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth Texas, and a pastor to a beautiful body of believers who love Christ and desire to make Him known.
The journey is the blessing, and I am learning to find absolute pleasure in God through all that he allows me to do.
One of the greatest passions which God has given to me is to be able to mentor and disciple men. This passion flows out of a testimony in my life of many men that through the past 15 years have at different times poured their wisdom, love and godly insights into my life.
Discipleship doesn’t happen over night. It takes great investment and it takes great perseverance. I praise the Lord and give glory to God because he used broken vessels in my life to help point me in the right direction. Mighty Men of God, Warriors of the faith who read this, you know who you are, and I thank you for your sacrifice on my behalf, I am a better man because of you.
Many of the blogger links you will find on my page are these very men. Some have been active in my life for many years. Some are new, and a couple I have never been blessed to meet, yet still their investment into my life is vital. As you read my page, take time to click through their links. You will be blessed all the more as you take time to glean wisdom from their writings just as I do.
I am cautious and careful with who I link off of this blog, so that those who come to read, can be certain that God is forever glorified in these writings. Those who are seeking, lost and wounded in this life can find hope for salvation through Jesus Christ, God’s only Son and healing for the soul through the same. I am confident that if anyone is struggling with their eternal salvation, you could contact any one of the men listed on my blog roll and they will do all they can to guide you to the saving arms of Jesus.
Study to know Him,

The great thing about sharpening, brother, is that it happens in both directions.
We share a name and the passion to make disciples. The Lord Jesus bless you on your journey
